CELEBRA'OS is a Guatemalan event planning and coordination company owned by Cecilia Hes. It is registered under the commercial enterprise Registry Number 1191150 of the Commercial Registry of the Republic of Guatemala (REGISTRO MERCANTIL DE LA REPÚBLICA GUATEMALA, C.A.), for which it follows all Guatemalan legal and tax-related procedures and regulations.

1. User's conduct

   In all interactions with us and/or our partners, through this website, our social media channels, written and oral communications (collectively "communication spaces"), we require the use of respectful and appropriate language and manners. We reserve the right to answer and allow only those communications that are legitimate and respectful, and to take actions in case of any violation of these terms. At all times, we aim to have a transparent and honest interaction with each person we potentially or factually work with, and always act in good faith, for which we require the same from everyone interacting with us or using our spaces.

   Our communication spaces are thought to share information with the public and our community regarding our services and the experiences they comprise, and to exchange meaningful information with our community. They are not to be used by any member of our community for violent or destructive purposes. They are also not spaces for selling or advertising other parties' services, products or ideas without the express consent of CELEBRA'OS, in which case they will be thoroughly examined and only given space if related and deemed necessary for the services we provide or to provide clarity about them.

2. Intellectual property

   Unless owned by other authors, we own the copyright over the creative content compositions and assemblies we publish and share in our communication spaces, including the text, messages and visual composites. We do not exclusively own the rights to use some images and photos included, but we have been mindful of obtaining the rights to use commercially the graphical items and tool in our communication spaces if they are not part of Cecilia's personal libraries.

3. Website/data management

   Cecilia Hes is the owner of the domain celebraos.com. We manage our e-mail communications through Squarespace and Postmark by ActiveCampaign.

4. Privacy policy and use of cookies

   To enhance navigation on our website, we may use cookies. You can verify and accept the use of certain groups of cookies while others are necessary for website performance. The cookies' policy can be checked at the moment of landing on any of the pages on our website. The cookies' policy is part of the privacy agreement for the use of our website and must be agreed to if you visit it. Our website is under a Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) encryption version of HTTP, to protect data integrity and privacy between our users and our website. We only obtain information regarding the visit of our communication spaces, if available, using the metrics and policies for the web traffic of the platforms we use (e.g. Meta).

   If you wish to receive commercial (i.e. non-transactional) communications from us and reside in the EU, USA or Canada, we require agreement of GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAN and CASL terms and conditions as per the legislation of where you reside. This agreement is expressed by you when you fill out any of our opt-in forms. Unless you reside in EU, you are not obliged to agree to them and you retain your right to revoke permissions for the storage of your data by opting-out through the ‘unsuscribe’ button in our promotional e-mails or by writing to us to celebration@celebraos.com. If you are an EU resident and you leave your data in one of our opt-in forms, we require you to agree go GDPR since automatically your data is stored in our database. For any person who contacts us or leaves their data in our forms, we will have the data they provide unless and until they request to be removed from our database, which can be requested and we can remove them. 5. Terms for clients and potential clients

   All our clients and potential clients are to be legally authorized to acquire services and purchases in accordance to the law of their residence country and Guatemala, and they must be at least 18 years old. In the legal contract we share with our clients, after approval and expressed desire to hire our services, all descriptions, rights and responsibilities of the client and CELEBRA'OS are detailed and must be agreed upon and signed at the start of the relationship. A cancellation policy also applies, which is available for consultation on the contract. At all times, the clients and potential clients are responsible for giving the most accurate information relating to their event, expectations, personal information, including payment method, and any other details that affect their availability and capability to acquire our services and those of our partners. We ask all potential clients to ask for a quote for our services only if and when they are ready to take our services, regardless of the final decision about it. We will always be honest about our availability and act in good faith if we believe we cannot or are not willing to take a client for any reason, for which we reserve the right. Any person interested in our services may contact us through our official communication spaces privately if they would like clarification about the terms of working with us. Our clients can also always ask for specific information and clarification about our services. All payments are managed and protected by protocols enabled by secure checkouts in Squarespace, PayPal and their partners, for which you can check their terms of use and privacy policy on their websites.

6. Disclaimers

   Because of the nature of our work, we work with third parties and vendors who provide specific services related to the events we plan. We have chosen our platforms, partners and vendors with much care and having the highest regard for our community, especially our clients', experience, security and privacy. However, we are not responsible for their products, services, opinions, communications and ways of working. We are also not responsible for the policies, terms and opinions of other platforms and companies' we hire for our performance and operations. If we ever have any finding on the third parties we work with, that compromises us or our community in any way, we will take the appropriate actions to end the commercial relationship with them and notify the authorities and affected members of our community if deemed necessary. For the travel experiences we mention and which complement our service of destination events in Guatemala, we work with very experienced and knowledgeable tourism agents who have legal permission to work as such and who have years of experience in the Guatemalan tourist market. CELEBRA’OS is not travel agency and only acts in the logistics and coordination of such activities as producers of an event in our format.
